Casa da Cancela is located in Aldeia Oliveiras, 5 minutes from the Figueira’s Schist Village. Situated outside the schist nucleus of the village, it is on the exterior wall where you will find the fountain that used to supply the village with water. The water is collected from a spring located in the mountains and is very pleasant. The house has a large yard with fruit trees and space to cook outdoors. It has central heating from the fireplace and air conditioning. The house has 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bathroom, a living room with 2 sofas and a TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, fireplace, and air conditioning. Aldeia Oliveiras is a Bikotel accommodation, offering services and infrastructure specific to cyclists. It is, without a doubt, a privileged place to connect with nature and keep unforgettable moments.

. The "Mesa Posta" service is delivered at your home. It may be necessary to heat it up when you are ready to enjoy your meal. The dinner will consist of bread and seasoned olives, garden vegetable soup, wild mushrooms sautéed with bacon, maranhos à ti'Augusta with salad, deconstructed goat cheesecake in a glass, a bottle of Monte Barbo white or rosé wine, and water.

. Accompanied by the aromas of stone kitchens, each gesture in the preparation of this traditional sweet carries the warmth of past generations and reflects the simplicity and affection of the land.
12h00 - Visit to Figueira’s Schist Village
. Between the tender but suspicious gaze of the goats and the aroma of freshly baked bread from the community oven, let yourself get lost in the rural charm of the most “village-like” village of all.
13h00 - Lunch "Tasting the Spirit of the Place" at Restaurante Casa Ti Augusta, Figueira
. Ti'Augusta maintains a commitment to preserving the habits and traditions of Figueira, emphasizing the flavors and turning a simple dish into a true delicacy.
The lunch consists of the House’s Plate: black pork sausage, goat and sheep cheese, cured bacon in an old-fashioned brine, and red pepper olive paste, olives seasoned with olive oil, garlic & oregano; Bread baked in the village’s wood-fired oven; Maranho with Murro Potatoes, Wedding Stew, and Plangaio with Mountain Cabbage; Blind Tasting Dessert with Tigelada made at Atelier d’Aldeia, water, Monte Barbo wine, beer or soft drink, and coffee.
15h00 - Blind tasting of Tigeladas
. Each participant takes a pot + recipe of Tigelada from Beira Baixa so that they can replicate it whenever they wish at home.

. A magical sensory experience seasoned by the surrounding Xisto nature and more traditional flavors at the table.
The menu consists of Tomato salad with fresh goat cheese and aromatic herbs, salpicão, cured goat cheese, olive paste, bread baked in a wood-fired oven, seasoned olives, chickpea paste with olive oil and vegetable sticks, scrambled eggs with plangaio, mini goat burgers, assorted salads, fresh fruit, mint lemonade, Vale do Linho wines, water, and grandmother's coffee.
22h00 - XJazz – Jazz Encounters in the Schist Villages, Figueira
