It was after a weekend in the Schist Village of Figueira that Ana Montemor fell in love with the region’s tranquillity, authenticity and surrounding natural beauty. From this discovery came Casa do Tear and Pátio do Tear, a project inspired by local traditions, memories of the village and the old loom where young girls once learnt to weave. Today, she welcomes every guest with simplicity and warmth, striving to provide stays full of soul, peace and cosiness.
