His works convey a cosmic sensation, which works through the application of colored glazes on black clay.
In this course, Douglas teaches participants how to dissolve boundaries through a playful approach, from building a sculpture together to creating cups and functional pieces made on a potter's wheel to use at the table.
In practice, participants explore layered techniques with the application of slip, scraffito, wax, enamel and overglaze. The use of symbols and brands is also encouraged so that they can develop their cosmic creations.

The course fee includes:
- Training for 5-6 hours a day, spoken in English and with support in Portuguese;
- Welcome dinner on the first day of the course;
- Lunch during the course (17 to 25 September);
- All materials needed for the course and cooking;
- Free accommodation in the hostel during the course (10 nights). The hostel is equipped with a dormitory, kitchen, shared bathrooms, washing machine, towels, bed linen and Wi-Fi;

Cancellation policy:
You can cancel within 14 days of registration, paying the relevant transfer fees. In accordance with EU consumer protection legislation, the course fee will not be refunded after 14 days of enrolment. However, the fee will be fully refunded if the training cannot be held due to a lack of sufficient students.
