"An amazing experience. The way the village community welcomed us was quite extraordinary. They made us feel like we belonged there and very welcome. The cod with cabbage is very good and the visit to the wine cellars was exceptional. The best thing was spending time with all the people of the area. We loved it and if we get the chance we'll be back for sure next year."

"Hotel Villa Pampilhosa was a marvellous surprise. We really liked it. Clean and modern with spacious, comfortable rooms. Good indoor pool with jacuzzi area, and adjacent sauna and steam room. The Buke restaurant is also very good. Very friendly and attentive service. For improvement: internet speed and quantity / quality of TV channels in rooms. The visit to the viewpoints over the Santa Luzia reservoir is well worth it. A visit to the picturesque village of Piódão, although rather a long way away, is a must - it is one of the most beautiful places we have seen in Portugal."

"Thanks for the wonderful stay in Pampilhosa da Serra and special thanks to the excellent staff of the Villa Pampilhosa Hotel and the chef and the whole team at the Buke restaurant. We had an excellent, relaxing stay. We loved the room, the cleanliness, the quiet, the wonderful SPA circuit and the robes and towels thoughtfully provided for enjoyment of the Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The hotel staff helped us plan our visit to the aldeias de xisto, river beaches and the Santa Luzia reservoir we managed to see everything in a single day. The meals at the hotel were also wonderful as were the breakfasts. We really want to go back, mainly for the friendly people and the peace and quiet. Congratulations. Thank you. "

"A casa é muito confortável e decorada com muito bom gosto. A localização é muito agradável, numa aldeia longe dos grandes centros, mas perto da natureza na sua plenitude. As praias fluviais são muito aprazíveis e uma grande alternativa para férias ou escapadinhas. Esta casa tem ainda a vantagem de o casal anfitrião ser muito simpático e que faz tudo para que nos sintamos em casa, com dicas e mimos, nomeadamente um pequeno-almoço delicioso.
