Custódio e Sara Tomé

This father and daughter project was born out of the desire to introduce people to the village where their mother/grandmother was born and bred. The restoration of a schist house for their own use and for sharing with friends, gave rise to Custódio e Sara Tomé, and the idea of promoting the village and surrounding river beach. House by house, the village of Oliveiras was reborn.

"A Casa da Travessa cumpriu com tudo o que tínhamos idealizado. E até com o que não tinhamos idealizado. Um welcome pack com um pão maravilhoso e uma compota de comer e chorar por mais, entre outras coisas. A casa está situada numa ruela de casas de xisto, muitíssimo bem preservada pelo Sr. Tomé, numa aldeia em que apenas se ouvem os pássaros. Está bem equipada no interior e também no exterior, onde pode fazer os seus grelhados e usufruir das suas refeições no exterior, nas mesinhas dispostas pela ruela. estreita nas dimensões mas gigante em paz. Na envolvência, o feedback não poderia ser melhor também. A piscina pertencente à Aldeia Oliveiras está sempre convidativa, há sempre espaço para uma caminhada tranquila pela ruas e trilhos. Para nós, o ponto alto foi a Praia Fluvial da Froia, a praia fluvial com melhores condições em que estivemos até hoje, apoiada por um bom bar com oferta variada de petiscos e bebidas. A Casa da Travessa fica a 10 minutos a pé da praia e foi óptimo não termos tido que pegar no carro para deslocações. A repetir, sem qualquer dúvida, com especial curiosidade por visitar novamente no inverno para usufruir ainda de mais paz e da salamandra que nos aquecerá o coração e a mente.
