Composed of three guest houses, Quinta do Sobral is located in the mountains of Central Portugal, surrounded by an idyllic rural landscape, but also near Figueiró dos Vinhos town centre. This estate covers more than 4 hectares of land and is distinguished by the variety of its plants and colours, by its vineyards, chestnut and fruit trees, and cork oaks. In the warmer months you can also enjoy the beautiful swimming pool.

Casa Ouro is a restored country cottage. On the ground floor, prepared for people with reduced mobility, there is 1 twin bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub, living/dining room and a properly equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. It also has heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a washing machine, a barbecue, and private parking.

You can take a guided tour of the Quinta and join in the agricultural activities. You can also enjoy the best nature has to offer, walking/hiking trails, canoeing, fishing, mountain climbing and horse riding.

It was in 2005 that Bernhard and Brigitte Nowakowsky acquired Quinta do Sobral. The natural beauty they found captivated this German couple, both chemists, who decided to settle there, restore, and transform the three houses and make them available to anyone who might want to get to know the region.
