Casa de Santo Antão is a family project. It was born not from the need to rebuild a house, but above all from the desire to preserve a family story. The house was built by the grandfather of the current owner, and two generations of the Antão family were born here.
In this house, the walls tell stories: every stone was placed by hand, the wood-fired oven was ingeniously built, as was the entire structure of the home. These features still remain today, deserving to be admired. The wish to revitalise a family space—honouring it and preserving its history—was so essential that it led the owners and their descendants to leave the capital and move to this rural paradise.
Casa de Santo Antão is, above all, a family home, with its doors open to friends.
