"There were several positive points to note about our stay. 1st, the staff welcoming us showed commitment, enthusiasm, attentiveness, and were very helpful in showing us maps and suggestions for visits to the Aldeias do Xisto and the most interesting local attractions. 2nd the facilities are very comfortable and the Convent is very nicely fitted out. 3rd, it is a privilege to have breakfast in the cloisters of the Convent. 4th privileged access to the equally welcoming Ponte Velha restaurant."

"We really liked the cream of chestnut soup and we had the kid as our main course. For those planning a stay in Villa Pampilhosa or in Pampilhosa da Serra, we recommend a visit to the Buke Restaurant."

"Casa com excelente condições, situada numa aldeia de xisto lindíssima, onde parece que parou o tempo. As pessoas que lá vivem são muito simpáticas, e vivem um estilo de vida tradicional, cultivando suas hortas e criando seus animais.
Agua formosa é muito de locais fantásticos para passar por dia como a praia fluvial do penedos furado, os passadiços do penedo furado, enumera cascatas, bem como a barragem de castelo de bode.
Adoramos e voltaremos!!!"
